UNIOSUN Student Union President-elect, Layonu Idowu Akinyato, has emerged 1st-place winner of the July Edition of the NANS Monthly Essay Writing Competition.
The 500-level Medicine and Surgery student of Osun State University clinched the top spot in the national student competition organised by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), National Headquarters.
The feat marks another remarkable milestone for Akinyato, combining his role as a student leader with outstanding intellectual achievement on a national platform.
His emergence as the overall winner further puts UNIOSUN in the spotlight, showcasing the intellectual capacity and leadership potential within the university community.
The July edition of the competition was sponsored by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
