Osun state University Releases 2026 Post Utme Form , announcing the minimum cutoff mark for candidates seeking admission into the university and the deadline for the Registration.
Osun State University stated that only candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their First choice in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or those willing to change their institution to UNIOSUN would be eligible to participate in the the Screening exercise.
The University added that, the Minimum Cutoff mark for candidates is 160. However, candidates who scored below 200 in the UTME applying for competitive programmes such as Law, Medcine and surgery e.t.c would not be considered admission.
According to the University, Candidates who initially applied for any of the affected courses but failed to meet the required score are advised to change to other relevant programmes before the admission process.
Candidates Below 16 years of age as of September 30, 2026 are not eligible to apply, in line with the federal government’s policy .
The institution directed Applicants of Direct Entry to obtain the JAMB Direct Entry Form, complete the online screening application, and ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar of the university on or before Friday, September 4, 2026.
The university further disclosed that admission would only be offered to candidates with at least five credit passes in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings. However, applicants seeking admission into Medicine, Nursing, Law and Islamic Law must possess the required credits in one sitting.
They also warned applicants against providing false information during registration, stressing that any candidate found guilty would be prosecuted and have their admission withdrawn, while fees paid would not be refunded.
UNIOSUN added that all prospective students must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), describing it as a mandatory requirement for admission processing.
The university noted that successful candidates would undergo compulsory medical screening, including drug tests, before final admission.
Students Applying are required to register online through the university’s admission portal, pay a total of ₦5,000, comprising ₦3,000 as portal access fee and ₦2,000 as Post-UTME screening fee via the Remita payment platform.
