The Osun State University Students Union Legislative Council, 6th Assembly, has congratulated Comr. Abubakar Abdul Basit Olalekan on his re-election as the Global President of the Osun State University Alumni Association.The assembly described his re-election as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership and commitment to the growth of the association.
Speaking on behalf of the assembly, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Kilani Opeyemi, popularly known as Kelly, said members of the legislative arm looked forward to stronger collaboration with the newly re-elected president.
“On behalf of the entire members of the 6th Assembly, I congratulate you on your re-election as the Global President of the UNIOSUN Alumni Association,” he said.
Kelly noted that the assembly remained optimistic that the new tenure would promote unity, impactful projects and stronger engagement across the global alumni network.
“The 6th Assembly looks forward to building on the foundation already laid and driving even greater collaboration in this new term,” he added.
He further wished the Alumni President a successful tenure marked by progress and achievements for members of the association worldwide.
“May your tenure be marked by unprecedented achievements, unity and groundbreaking progress for all alumni worldwide,” he stated.
