Osun State University, UNIOSUN, students admitted between 2020 and 2025 have been advised to print their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, admission letters from the JAMB portal before the portal closes.
The notice, circulated to students, stressed that the JAMB admission letter is different from the admission letter issued by the university.
According to the information, affected students are required to obtain and keep a copy of their JAMB admission letters, irrespective of their current level of study.
The portal is expected to close on August 30, 2026, and students who fail to obtain the required admission letter before the closure could face difficulties relating to their admission records.
The notice is particularly important for students who were admitted into the university between 2020 and 2025, as they are being encouraged to verify that they have obtained their JAMB admission letters.
Newly graduated 400-level students have also been urged to take the directive seriously, particularly those who are yet to receive their NYSC call-up numbers.
The development has been presented as an important step for affected students to ensure that their admission records are properly documented with JAMB.
Students experiencing difficulties while trying to obtain their admission letters have been advised to visit the nearest JAMB office for clarification and assistance.
Where students are directed back to the university, they have been advised to visit the Admissions Office at the university’s main campus for further assistance.
Affected students are also encouraged to keep a scanned copy of their JAMB admission letter in a secure location, including their email, for future reference.
Students concerned are therefore advised to treat the directive as important and complete the process before the stated portal closure.
