The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, has invited members of the public to the official investiture of the institution’s third Chancellor, Mrs Victoria Adunola Samson, popularly known as Mama BOVAS.
The ceremony, which will also feature the commissioning of landmark projects across the university, is scheduled to hold on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
According to a statement issued by the university, the invitation was extended by the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff and students of the institution.
The university described the event as a significant milestone that will usher in a new chapter of visionary leadership while showcasing major infrastructural developments recorded by the institution.
UNIOSUN urged members of the public and other stakeholders to attend the ceremony and join in celebrating the historic occasion.
