Osun State University has achieved full accreditation for all 29 academic programmes presented to the National Universities Commission (NUC) during the October/November 2025 exercise.
The approval, conveyed in a letter signed by NUC’s Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, covers programmes across Administration, Management, Allied Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Computing, Education, Sciences, and Social Sciences.In a statement, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, said the 100 per cent success reflects years of strategic planning, quality assurance, and investment in academic excellence.
“All programmes presented for accreditation secured full status.
This is another milestone in our journey towards global relevance and excellence,” he said.Professor Adebooye credited the achievement to the collective commitment of staff, students, the Governing Council, alumni, and other stakeholders, as well as the support of the Osun State Government under Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the administration’s focus on quality teaching, research, infrastructural development, digital innovation, and uninterrupted academic activities, all of which contributed to the successful outcome.Since his appointment, Professor Adebooye’s administration has overseen remarkable progress in programme expansion, research output, staff development, and institutional visibility, reinforcing UNIOSUN’s reputation for academic stability and excellence.
